Once all the questions have been answered, the host will help finalize and instruct you on all the details for your trip. You will receive the final instructions regarding the exact location of the car and keys within 12 hours of the reservation start time, once payment is made.

• Option A: EZ Vehicle Rentals lot.

  • Location: 10 minutes from O’Hare Airport at 636 S River Rd, Des Plaines, IL, 60016.

• Option B: Special delivery within a 5-mile radius for $50. Guests cover associated fees (e.g., parking at the airport).

• Option C: Personalized parking solution outside of a 5-mile radius, with custom pricing. (Often includes Uber costs for vehicle retrieval.)

Car registration and specific insurance can both be found in the glove compartment.

EZ Vehicle Rentals has iPass transponders in each vehicle. All generated tolls are automated to an invoice and sent to the guest post-trip within a few business days.

Smoking is not permitted in the vehicles and will result in an assessment of $250.

If a vehicle is returned in a negligent or dirty state, an assessment of $250 will be charged.

Late returns are not permitted. Penalties and fees vary based on the total additional rental time.

Pets are not allowed unless the “Pet Friendly” package is purchased. Excessive hair or mess left behind will be assessed accordingly.

EZ Vehicle Rentals requires Full Coverage from our insurance broker or a personal policy.

Vehicles abandoned or improperly returned are subject to penalties and fees associated with recovering the vehicle.

EZ Vehicle Rentals will refuel the vehicle for you. After submitting the receipt, we will cover the gas and a $15 inconvenience fee.

All expenses inquired during the guest rental period are subject to reimbursement. This includes but isn’t limited to parking, tolls, tickets, damage; miscellaneous circumstances.

Each rental comes with a minimum of 150 miles per day. We prefer these rentals to be used in state however if you plan on traveling out of state we offer packages for trips going further distances.

Balances are subject to a 5% interest premium charge per day.

Tickets are covered on the behalf of the guest and an additional $50 convenience fee.

Yes every rental unit has an OBD Reader for maintenance and insurance purposes along with built in trackers for theft prevention.

Each situation is addressed differently. Of course if we have a good dialogue with a guest the situation would never reach drastic measures. If we have reason to believe the vehicle is in fact being stolen we have teams in place which will report the guest, the rental car along with begin retrieval process. Offenders will face up to 2-10 years in prison for “Not returning a rental unit.”
